Jason replied to Eric Shannon's discussion I love Boulder, but...
"Fort Collins also has more water than Boulder....just doesn't feel as dry up there. I was up there a month or two ago to do some biking and couldn't believe how few folks were out. No way you'd ever get that in Boulder... "

Profile Information

About me
I'm always looking for a great job in a great location.
My blog, LinkedIn, or company website
http://www.mountainjobs.com
When did you first move to the mountains and why?
I moved to the mountains in 1998 to get more life out of living. The point of life isn't to earn money - it's to have enjoyable experiences with people you care about in places you want be.
Where did you move from? What do you miss the most?
South - greenery
Your favorite mountain town?
Jackson
Favorite mountain activities?
hiking, backpacking, photography
What is the best mountain job you've had? the worst?
I've worked at several resorts in/near national parks. Best was at the Paradise Inn at Mt Rainer late in the season. Absolutely awesome to live on the mountains and hear the crevasses making noise. Worst was starting the season at Many Glacier Lodge in Glacier NP. It was cold and snowing when I started - I was anxious to get out hiking, but there was 5 feet of snow still on the trail.
When not in the mountains, I like to...
read, drink beer, and hope to one day learn to play guitar. I also love the beach - not much water here in Colorado, so I try to go to the ocean once a year.
