Hi Amy,My name is Paul Benbow, and I recently moved to South Lake Tahoe, CA last October where I am now enrolled in college obtaining my degree in Wilderness Education. In every moment of my spare time I am hiking the many trails throughout the Tahoe Basis no matter what the weather. - About me
- I am currently enrolled in college full-time obtaining my degree in Windrness Education. I live here in South Lake Tahoe, CA where I spend all of my spare time hiking throughout the Tahoe Basis and surrounding areas.
Once I graduate from college I intend to return to Alaska where I will use my degree working with various wildlife biologists.
- When did you first move to the mountains and why?
- I have lived in the montains off and on throughout my entire life simply because "I CAN'T STAND THE CITY LFESTYLE!!!"
- Where did you move from? What do you miss the most?
- I have lived in various places in California, Alaska, and Nevada, but I miss Alaska the most simly because of the vast wilderness there and the extremely low amount of "people" population.
- Your favorite mountain town?
- Chena Hot Spring, Alaska
- Favorite mountain activities?
- Backpacking, camping, fishing, hunting, boating, rock climbing, guiding, cross-country skiing, andliving in very remote places.
- What is the best mountain job you've had? the worst?
- The best job tht I havhad is working with wildlife and wildlife biologists. I haven't ever had a "bad" mountain job.
