New To Mountainjobs.com

I just posted my information on my page on Mountainjobs.com. This seems like a great site. Currently I am employed but am actively looking for new opportunities. This seems like the place to be for folks like me who live in the mountains. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to contact me as I am new to this site. My resume is posted as well.

Profile Information

About me
High energy creative director experienced in managing workflow for graphic arts, marketing design and more. I have had more than ten years working on deals ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to multi billion dollar proposals. I have enjoyed living the great life of a Graphic Artist, Painter, Web Designer, Multi Media Artist, and Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop Guru. I live at the base of Mount Rosalie in Colorado and love the great outdoors, great friends, and children.

When did you first move to the mountains and why?
I first moved into the mountains while on military assignment 22 years ago. I relocated to the Rocky Mountains last September.
Where did you move from? What do you miss the most?
I moved from the Texas hill country. What I miss the most is salt water fishing, but I am loving learning to fish for Trout in the mountain streams. Now I just have to learn to actually catch one.
Your favorite mountain town?
Of all the mountain towns I have ever been to I its a toss up between Telluride Colorado, Cloudcroft New Mexico, and this great little semi ghost town in the mountains of New Mexico called Mugion. Bailey Colorado is my new mountain home, my house sits at almost 9,000 feet it is fantastic. The Mount Evans trail is my favorite place to hike right now.
Favorite mountain activities?
As an artist I love to hike. It gives me time to experience the environment while also writing and doing some photography. I also enjoy taking my old Cannondale downhiller out for a little back trail riding. There is a sort of zen to chopping the wood that heats your house so even chores like that are a lot of fun for me.
What is the best mountain job you've had? the worst?
I work at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Littleton for Lockheed Martin. I live an hour into the mountains so that I absolutely love. The worst job I ever had in the mountains was also the most rewarding. Coordinating rescue and recovery operations for military personnel lost or injured in the desert and mountain ranges of New Mexico. That job was great when you brought someone back to the base safe and sound. It was the worst when we had to recover aircraft that crashed into the side of mountains.
When not in the mountains, I like to...
I love being outdoors. Put me in the mountains, put me on a tropical island, or anywhere in between. Most places are what you make them and as long as I can enjoy getting out and hiking, biking and most of all enjoying the outdoors with my family I am the happiest of guys.
